If you are in Fargo, do not miss taking a trip "downtown" to Nichole's Fine Pastry. The pastries, dessert items and delicacies are out of this world!! Take the time to enjoy lunch and sample some of their menu items then......take some treats home with you!! The service has always been prompt, warm and friendly.
Nichole's always does it right, whether it is just dessert or a great lunch, they've got it covered. Coffees are great too, and the environment is accommodating to everyone including families. You really can't go wrong here, it is all so good!
Nichole's began as a pastry place with just few tables for people to drink coffee and enjoy one of Nichole's delicious creations. They now serve great lunches and breakfasts in addition to some of Fargo's best baked goods. I had an excellent tuna salad croissant and a nice salad the last time I was there for lunch. When we want special baked treats for company, we always get them at Nichole's.
Delightful find in Fargo. We chose this place for lunch. Its sandwiches were delicious and we even had a "very mid-Western"German-style soup (don't remember the name). The pastries were very tempting but we were too full! Recommend highly.
Best beer cheese soup ever. Lovely atmosphere - friendly staff. Good food and fancy cakes makes it well worth visiting. Comfortable seating and good choice of teas
Stopped in for lunch and had butternut squash soup and mushroom and asparagus egg bakes (like a frittata.) Very tasty. But the Black Forest chocolate cake was out of this world yummy! Wish I could try each of their bakery items but I would not fit into my pants afterwards!
Slice of Europe in Fargo. Having exhausted the local sights, wood chipper, walk of fame, gallery it was time for a little cuppa. Luckily we found this lovely little cafe downtown to revive us from the sudden change in weather. We ordered some chocolates and a fruit cake with earl grey tea. The tea was pretty good, the chocolates were really tasty and the cake moist and fresh. The staff were really friendly, we even had our tea brought over to us probably because we had accents. If you fancy a little slice of Europe whilst in Fargo on a wet, cold day go here!
Paris in North Dakota. My cousin in Fargo brought me here while I was on a cross-country trip. This extraordinary bakery-eatery understands what a croissant should be. The lunch sandwiches we tried were so tasty. Although the coffee is self-service from large thermos flasks, it is served in a proper cup with saucer (no styrofoam) and it is very good coffee. My message to Nichole: if you happen to be French, you are an American treasure. Lucky Fargo.
I love coming to Nichole's for an impromptu lunch...never a disappointment! I have been stopping in since college and the staff is always friendly and courteous as well as knowledgeable about the food and ingredients. Nichole also did our wedding cake and I am still getting compliments! It was delicious and looked exactly how we designed it! We will continue to be happy patrons for many years to come! Keep up the good work!
Gone from Fargo for six years, but I still dream of this place. In all of the DFW area, I have yet to find its equal.
We received multiple recommendations to use Nichole’s Fine Pastry for our wedding cake. We heard they were the best in Fargo and they easily exceed our expectations. Nichole made the process very easy with a quick meeting about how we wanted the cake to look and the flavor of the cake. The detail on our cake was phenomenal! It was elegant. Many of our guests came up to us specifically tell us it was the best tasting cake they ever had. Brianna and I would highly recommend using Nichole’s Fine Pastry, you will not be disappointed.
